Amazing album and an amazing pressing. My copy sounds pretty flawless with that nice deep resonance on the low end and a crisp high end with all the lovely bits in the middle. Sharp and sexy.

B6 (AD 2000) sounds like shit! LOTS of distortion. Anyone else with this problem? Otherwise a great sounding reissue. Warm and dynamic.

Edited 3 years agoPhenomenal pressing.
Thoughts on the comments about pressing flaws on B1: I went back and paid close attention. On the second playthrough of this freshly unpackaged copy, I found 3 mild pops on B1. I immediately spun the record backwards through them. Just one quick reverse and a microfiber cloth wipe-off and they were gone on the third listen.
The other eyebrow raising thing to note is that owners of the VMP version are also reporting manufacturing flaws on B1. That alone calls for some deeper research into the remaster/lacquer processing on this one. Big brain production process insiders: please work your magic and unravel this one for us.
I can safely report, though, that this version is fantastic, and the pops I briefly detected before I reversed them out were extremely light, in part because of how full and rich MOV gets the sound on these reissues. Huge signal to noise ratio, intense but tasteful limiting, gorgeous frequency response profile.
This is my fourth MOV reissue and I am deeply impressed with the fidelity present at the price point. These are products that greatly overperform the sonics of their price-point comp-set. -
The adhesive thing on the MOV plastic, which tears very easily actually damaged the cover on the back. Vinyl also came warped. Sound is stellar though.

Sounds great, clear, dynamic and engaging. A great album and nice that this version on vinyl does it justice. First MOV pressing reissue bought and not disappointed.

A.D.2000 was muddy and oversaturated on my copy, specially the bass, so sadly I had to return it -the pressing was generally really good-
