This sounds fantastic, really fills the room I love it.
But… I hate the packaging, it’s soooo lazy. They do such a good job creating all of the zines and photo books, why don’t the records get the same treatment? Feels like a huge miss and takes away from the value of this record.
Hope we get a live recording of their most recent run of shows in the UK/EU that would be cool! -
Any other band looking to release a live album needs to take notes. The audience level is PERFECT. You can clearly hear a 10/10 performance from the band but there are times when the audience noise is overwhelming. Like a force of nature. It's an electric performance on a very well-pressed release.

Does anyone else find that their copy sounds very low? I have to crank the volume all the way up to hear anything.

Edited one year agoJust landed on my doorstep! Glad I got this as I missed the RSD live orchestra album by a whisker. Great cover photo but single sleeve with zero information only song titles is a bit of a joke.
No CD issue? -

I feel like I’m in the crowd when I play this, it sounds so good. Some more pictures would have been nice, but I can’t look at them while raging in my living room anyways.

Edited one year agoSounds just fine but I have to echo the comments below with how minimal this release is. Zero inner sleeve, notes, lyrics, pictures etc.
Amazon own the tracks it seems so i'd expect another run of copies on there so be patient and don't pay these silly prices. -
i saw both the ATVB and SATVB tours when they came to portland. the MSG show captured here is great, but unfortunately the vinyl sounds awful, as if my ears are clogged with water. happy to have it, but i doubt i'll listen much. also somewhat disappointed that they cut out the space between the songs, it doesn't feel 'correct' to me.
listening setup: rega p6, ortofon mc cadenza bronze cartridge, stein music 'the perfect interface' carbon mat, liberty b2b-1 preamp, hegel h95 integrated amp, elac debut b5 speakers -
Just an alright pressing tbh. The packaging is sorta lacking. A bit of compression with such a long playtime. Though, the pressing is visually gorgeous.
Also, my disc 2 came warped and skipped throughout ‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know).’
Sad to see such a banging concert on a mid pressing :/ -
Idk if anyone else’s is the same…. but I am so disappointed this didn’t have the transition from “An Encounter” to “Robbers” … truely heartbroken :(
Discs are great. They are clear. It shipped fast to AUS from UK.
