its a shame people dont like this album over the other releases by swans, beautiful album and beautiful packaging, cute little insert
-
This is excellent! Love this pressing; flat and shiny. The sound is big and full. I am spinning it right now and growing a new appreciation for this album.

Picked up the recent restock with the signed insert. Can't speak for og pressings, but I think the remaster did wonders for this album. Sounds great, dead silent, and pancake flat. Not only that but the gate fold is high quality and the records comes in plastic inner sleeves instead of paper. Recommend.

For some reason the matrix runout has “YG50” and not “YG51” as the info states. I got this copy through the Spotify app around 2015 so I believe this is indeed the pressing I have. However, no embossed logo on my sleeve.
-
underrated swans album. and its defiantly best experienced on vinyl. this pressing is really great, heavy weight and full.
-
Any comments regarding the sound quality of this repress? Original copies are now prohibitive and would like to know if this is a good alternative.
ps - positive regarding this reissue is that it now includes the song Blind. -
Edited 6 years agoAlso came with Aaron Neville 45RPM Warm Your Heart Disc 1 in the second sleeve instead of record 2 for White Light From The Mouth of Infinity.
The strangest part is that the Arron Neville record is from a remastered Original Recordings Group release ORG-141 from 2013.

Even weirder, I recall when getting the CD in 1991 that a copy I had also had an Aaron Neville recording mismatch. Must be a bar code issue? -
