A Deluxe Edition soundtrack release of composer John Williams' award winning film score for "Jaws" directed by Steven Spielberg in 1975.
For this 2-CD release Intrada returned to the original session tapes and created brand new stereo mixes, all under the supervision of composer John Williams.
CD 1 Includes all of the actual soundtrack sequences plus several brief but previously unreleased cues and several alternate selections, all being released and heard for the first time.
CD 2 includes a remastered presentation of the original 1975 re-recorded 35-minute MCA album and source music of six selections from the Amity Town Band parade and beach sequences, arranged by Stu Phillips and Hal Mooney, and recorded by John Williams.

Thanks for the heads-up. Luckily there was nothing wrong with the discs or insert/sleeve. My experience is that La La Land is rather terrible at sending out records, and they don't care to reply to complaints.
You're correct about the matrix being different, but there are IFPI inscriptions for both mould and mastering SID. Incredibly hard to read though, despite using a magnifying glass. -
So, this release recently got a repress. Not seeing any alternate profiles for it. The front and back covers are identical, as is the spine. Are there any matrix/SID differences on the discs? (I own a copy, but haven't felt like breaking the factory seal just to check this.)
I see some sellers advertising their versions as "2015 original" and "2024 repress". What difference does it make if there are no actual physical and visible differences? It could as well open up for false marketing.
