What I'll never understand, is why for god's sake the drums were mixed so quietly into the final mixdown. I mean, if you listen closely to the track on headphones and you pay close attention to the drums, you just KNOW that they sound funky as hell. But still: put this one on, especially when you're DJ-ing and you'll notice time and time again how effing silent the drums are on the entire track. I'd love to hear a gentle remix on this one, just based on the original multitrack tapes and then just kick up the drums a notch. Enough bitchin', 'cause even though I stick to my thoughts, I once had ONE couple on the dance floor in front of me while DJ-ing and when I put this one on, they just danced as if they were in the bedroom doin' the wild thing: body to body, sweatin', almost dry humping each other to the beat, it was just super attractive. Never saw a more sexy couple dancing to this cut. James Brown's Hot Pants will do that to people :-)
