Some years ago I read somewhere that this 3-inch cd, described as a Goodiepal cd, was never actually recorded, or processed if you like, by him in the first place but was made by American break core king Kid 606. This could well be a typical Goodiepal/ V/Vm stunt, which also explains why it sounds a bit more like some of the sounds that Kid 606 recorded for Mille Plateaux before the label closed down, than anything Goodiepal has done. It also matches with the year of the release, as in 2000 Goodiepal was active doing the Brand 7-inches, which sound much more out there. Anyway it’s a nice idea that artists can share their names with others, and I think it’s a very brave move from Kid 606 to record some music but not take the credit for it.
