This EP is probably the best one out of Michael Fakesch's Demon. series, a masterpiece of what could be considered archetypal IDM: crunchy messed-up breaks, emotive pads, topped with a healthy smear of digital distortion, alongside a definite personal style and masterful execution.
If you love Autechre's Chiastic Slide era, with its dark metallic echoes. It still stands apart from both of those, with a more dancefloor-conscious direction.
