Edited 10 months agoAnother great AAA cut by Chris Bellman, now out of print since the 2018 digital reissues came in. Not a very loud cut to my surprise but still good. My copy is fine with some ticks here and there, except for one big zip of non-fill right in the silent groove between Blitzkrieg Bop and Beat On the Brat. Fortunately its only there and since it doesnt affect any of those two songs I still consider myself lucky. I also tested a US pressing (a Rainbo pressing) and it was a whole lot noisier, to the point that not even the loud songs were able to cover the crackle. So if you are going to go with one copy then make it the european version pressed at Optimal, even if its not perfect, its still better than whatever Rainbo used to press most of the time.
EDIT: Having compared this reissue to an original, I'd say stick to the original. Bellman's cut sounds very muddy and flat, while the original is much more revealing and the guitars crunch like they should. -

On my copy the labels are switche, like side one has the label of side two. Somebody else got this misspressing?
