Every single copy I've ever seen of this is on bad condition. Never known a record like it for always being in poor condition.

Magic Corner was the Main Song the A side for Beita Woods.  It ws released twice in 1967  in Detroit.  Ollie Mc Laughlin closed his business declared bankruptcy and when to Atlanta to Stax Records a subsidiary of Atlantic Records. He re-released it in 1969. I'm C Williams [email protected]

Burrell and Varner did not write Magic Corner their names were put on the record label.
Ben Knight wrote the lyrics to Magic Corner not Curtis Williams or C Williams on the record. Ben Knight put the words to my (C Williams) music. I was young and was angry at him for something so I did not give him credit for writing Magic Corner. I apologies Ben Knight

According to the run-out matrix numbers, 'Grounded' was the intended A-Side, with "Magic Corner' the flip; however the session logs note the tape matrices as 17332 (Magic Corner) and 17333 (Grounded) as turned over to Atlantic (Cotillion) for manufacture and distribution. Date listed as July 10th 1969, almost certainly the date the tapes were handed over to Cotillion under the Moira label deal, rather than the recording date (1967)
