Big ep. Turned up today and sounding great. Was a bit skeptical about the red vinyl but sounding crystal 👌🏻

Mad Dollar Strike again! Taking their debut dubplate outing, bolstered with 2 additional tunes & giving it a wider, & truly worthy full vinyl release as an EP.
Last years dub featuring 'Can't U See It' & 'So Deep' was my favourite Garage of 2023 & the extra tracks only add more weight to a mighty extended player.
While the lathe cut came from a Garage House direction, 'Massive' & 'What Would I do' cross over to the Speed Garage universe. "Massive' in particular with skippy beats, sirens, rewinds, soundclash samples & timestreching. What a treat.
'What would I do' initially takes a gentler trajectory, complimented by the smooth vocals of Nicky Louise Thomas but still hits hard with wicked chops, ruff beats, the occasional discordant vocal (think Armand / R.I.P. Productions) & smattering of clash fragments. Closing the EP in fine style.
Make no mistake of the duo's intention with these heavyweight tunes, tearing up the dance floor is the modus operandum & I can't wait to experience them in the dance!
