Edited one year agoMy copy is horrendous. When played with my dynavector dv-20x2 it's full of distortion. I played it on a very cheap turntable and the distortion is there too, be it less due to the cartridge not being as resolving.
System:
Funk firm lsd turntable into Trichord Dino phono amp into NAD M32 amp into Hepta floorstanders. -
Edited 7 years agoAt first I felt this album inferior to Fleet foxes - Fleet Foxes but after 2 more spins I retract that and say it might even be better. A release just as well made as the one before. Certain spots of the record are riddled with more clicks and pops but overall its not too bad of a pressing, although could certainly be better. Luckily songs like Blue Spotted Tail are completely free of them. The mastering however is quite spot on. If you liked their first album dont hesitate with this release. Just give it a few go's.
Equipment used:
Rega RP1 with Rega Carbon cartridge
Cyrus 2 Amplifier
System Fidelity SF-3050 tower speakers
Custom made HQ speaker cables -
