The whole album sounds good to me , a real treat for Sufjan fans , the vinyl sounds very clean on my press. -

Beautiful !!!! But there is a bit of surface noise on the side A. Probably because I was too lazy (and tired) to clean the record yesterday, lol. -
With this release, Sufjan Stevens reminded me why I loved vinyl when it's done right and it's not just a cynical easy cash-grab for labels and artists. It sounds great, the yellow vinyl is beautiful, the packaging as well and the booklet offers you the full "Javelin" experience. I really wish artists considered creating such a beautiful object and experience for their fans when they release a ridiculously overpriced vinyl (this wasn't the case here, so great job to Sufjan and everyone at Asthmatic Kitty!). -
I was hesitant to purchase this vinyl since Sufjan's records are not considerably the best of quality yet this pressing is quiet and rich.
[Some highs are mixed hot though] -
Pressing sounds good, but my copy has a pretty severe warp which causes audible pitch wobble.
Hate opening up a new record only to find that it's warped. -
Edited one year agoVery good editing and master overall, but while side A is perfect, side B suffers from being off-center, and it is especially noticeable starting from the penultimate song. A shame, it affects the experience of listening to this LP a little.
Edit: I exchanged it for a new copy whose B side is perfect. -

Edited one year agoSome indie retailers are including exclusive art prints with this -- mine came from Resident and looks fab. Edit: and forgot to mention, the pressing sounds fab. No surface noise. Slight warp, but doesn't affect play.

I have a "Lemonade" copy and it says made in , but I live in the US. The only copies my store had were the Lemonade ones. But I don't see any signifiers of it's being a German pressing, Could this be a mistake and there's "Lemonade" US copies too?
Anyone got any insight on this?
