Mine sounds pretty good. Some surface noise when the needle drops on the edge but otherwise pretty quiet.

Awesome album, amazing cover art, but I can't help but feel the presentation is lacking, almost like it is not an official product. No tracklisting on the back cover, no in-depth album credits, ugly label designs, and that hard-to-read font. Compare it with the SMANS, MMAS, Bangarang and Recess vinyl and there is a stark contrast in the overall professionalism. This album deserved a proper graphic designer to have worked on the physical editions.

To me, it reflects badly on Atlantic. They also sold CDs of the two Skrillex 2023 albums and instead sent out CDr's with broken jewelcases!

Finally got my copy and it sounds great! Very dynamic with clear sounding highs and hard hitting lows. Initially, I was concerned that the record will sound too boomy but in my opinion the lows are sitting right where they should sit. Technically, the record feels heavily compressed and controlled with very subtle surface noise on the D side (to my ear, it sounds pleasant), which might be opposite to the music itself, which sounds nothing but ecstatic and unique. I love this record & release! 5 Stars. :)

my copy sounds soo good! no pops, just minor crackling at the beginning of A1 and C1. when you turn up the volume, man it THUMPS

Contrary to what others are saying about Side D having surface noise, my copy had slight noise at the start but eventually stopped after "Good Space" started playing. Sucks to see that the pressing is inconsistent in quality though. Pretty solid album nonetheless. Packaging was a little warped on the top left corner, but nothing too bad.

Just got mine. Did pre order via amazon. All looks to be great but yeah, the consistency of mix balance isn’t that great. I mean, it’s good across many of the tracks but some bassy songs aren’t as bassy but vocally great. The records are also surprisingly flat. Though I’m starting to think it’s due to amazon’s style of media box package where records are held on one side so it doesn’t move around or warp easily during shipping. On my copy, it’s side C that has that general scratchy vocal thing I generally associate with like badly conpressed sound. It could be the pressing or I just need to clean the record a bit more. But I’m happy overall with this album. Especially Xena. I didn’t expect it to be as flawless on vinyl and close in quality to the digital version.

Not a bad pressing, not a great one either. Just from listening to the first disc, there's lead-in frosting (non-fill) on both the A and B sides, which causes a cyclical surface noise on the lead-ins and beginnings of A1 and B1. Unlike other people's, my discs are mostly flat, though. Some songs are bassy, but others feel like they're missing some low-end (Tears in particular suffers from this). The printed sleeves are neat, but I do wish this had been a gatefold - the single-pocket jacket came pretty creased from transit, which seems to be the case for others as well. Overall, not a bad job, but Recess definitely sounds better on a single LP. Some of these issues are probably just from poor pressing and non-fill. Hopefully there's a black pressing down the line.
EDIT: Wish we could give half stars. Probably closer to a 7 than a 6. Most of the album sounds great, other than some flaws.

This copy is far from audiophile grade. Left channel hisses a majority of this album. Pretty let down as I was excited for this on vinyl. Will definitely be picking up a black copy if it comes around. Spun with an Ortofon 2m blue on Klipsch RP600m speakers.

Is there a black pressing for this or is it just red so far?

Like others, side D has some gnarly surface noise. Packaging arrived a little dinged up to. Overall its fine, but it is a little disappointing
