This album has it all - funk, rock, pop, jazz. What a great listen. There's no famous standout single like Solid Slider or Loveland, though if I had to chose one it would be Follow me Along. But as an album the flow is top notch.
Pressing wise, for the RCA years remasters, this one is second best after Moonglow. Mastering and sound stage is great. Maybe you could ask for a tad more clarity on the vocals, but they come across warm and fit the vibe of the album. Very little noise if any. -
Edited one year agoMonster reissue. Exquisite art and packaging. Beautiful press, separation and master. Best of 1978 and 2023.
