Musical Genius Harry James delivers a must own recording, sound quality alone is enough of a reason to own, made a DSD 5.6Mhz copy right away.

Edited 4 years agoWow! Possibly the best record in my collection! Hard to pick a favorite, but this is for sure in the top 10. Stellar in every possible metric, from the quality of the music and performance of the musicians, to the very precise production method that was used. Even among my direct-to-disc collection, this one truly stands out as one of the best recordings I think human beings have ever made! I own both the gate fold and box set versions. Just amazing! As with everything Sheffield Lab, horns sound as real as you are going to get from any recording, period.

Edited 5 years agoOne of the best sounding records I own, especially considering it being pressed on such a thin, flimsy piece of vinyl. Really nice details in the high frequencies. Not exactly my kind of music, but I still enjoy putting it on sometimes.
