Love this record, mesmerizing rhythms, not a bad track even an average one. Comet records made a really good job on this one, great sound quality and perfect pressing (flat & silent), kudos to them ! -
As lewisfoulds I confirm the quality of the pressing.
Jacket is basic, but record sounds good, but I can't compare with other release...
But globaly this one have a good price-soundquality ratio. -
Quality reissue. Basic packaging. Thin jacket but it looks good. Poly lined inner sleeve is nice. Sounds good. A bit quiet but it's a good sounding record. Mine is dead quiet. Pressed really well.
It's also a wonderful record. I have no expirence with Haitian music/RaRa. The grooves are addictive. Just the sound of the guitar and in particular the drums. The drums are so forward and it's wonderful.
The vocals are great as well. I would have loved a little insert with the lyrics on and translations of them. I had a look online and I couldn't find anything. I would love to know the story being told on the record.
