The master, and the album itself are incredible.
The record is a lot noisier than I'd like, although not enough to lessen the listening experience. -
Absolutely gorgeous album - fantastic pressing, beautiful details highs lows dynamics and details - pleasure

Great release!
Packaging is not stunning - no gatefold, inner sleeve is not poly-lined. But price is low, so what can we expect? Dusty and full of static LP, but after wet cleaning is pretty good. My copy has some pops here and there, but not bad. There are few places with overcut grooves, not critical. Surface noise is audible on quieter parts, but very slightly. Overall quality of the pressing is quite good.
Mixing, mastering is very good for me. Vocals are stunning, this LP is about Alex’s vocal. Melancholic, relaxed listening. Every song is quite interesting, no bad one - actually, I’ve enjoyed every song, whole LP. Bass is precise and well controlled, cymbals are airy and well balanced. Very good dynamics, separation and pretty wide soundstage.

Such a wonderful pressing. As for the music: some might find it bland… I find it personally sublime! It’s a mood piece that showcases AM as one of the most versatile bands.

It is sometimes necessary to evaluate, what Arctic Monkeys were able to do with this album less rock but with melodies and a pleasant sweetness. A bit of peace and quiet, perfect for me

What is wrong with this whole industry? Why do they even release records on vinyl these days? Why even bother when it's that bad. I only bought this record because I liked the music. Sleeve so poor it's a disgrace. Surface noise like scratching sandpaper against your catridge. Sound hollow no dynamics, no treble. No excitement. Dead. Played on a 30.000 euro system on an EMT JSD5 Gold catridge and Tom Evans Groove Anniversary preamp. I think records are just a trend these days aimed at people with Crosley turntables. What a disgrace. What an insult to the artistic product. It seems the only way to buy records these days is go for Classic Recordings, Craft or Analogue Productions releases. Not a mofi fan here.

This album sucks frankly speaking.
Much worse musically than Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino, less creative, I'd say its boring, some 70s Las Vegas foyer music.
Sad to see what AM transformed into.
Just listen to Murdy Bum, 505, Do I Wanna Know and this album afterwards...Meh... -
deux allers retours chez le revendeur. Vinyles voilés tout les deux. Acquis le version crème anglaise, vinyle plat sans bruit de surface.

Edited 2 years agoMy pressing sounds fantastic on my system. Truly superior to streaming, makes me glad I decided to buy it as I am not a huge Arctic Monkeys fan in the first place.
