Wow, Erasure lost me after Cowboy but this album sounds amazing on my big speakers and I’m only steaming it. Very experimental but warm sound at the same time. I’m impressed. Might buy the green vinyl or the cd. -
Edited 2 years agoGreat album of downtime emotive electronics. What are these B-sides, cut ups of the Neon album? Many songs are vocalizations using Andy's voice as an instrument instead of traditional erasure song pop format. I keep listening to it over and over because it is has so many interesting nuances in it..like in the song Bop Beat I hear a variation dark riff of Yaz's Don't Go in it Lot's of industrial sounds mixed in with beauty.. Almost as if Erasure made an experimental album.. -
Holy hell, this is a fantastic album! Wonderful after multiple listens, picking through each bit and sample trying to match it to its correlating song from the NEON album. They have never had an album like this: Electronic/downtempo/atmospheric, a MUST LISTEN!!!
