Did this come with an inner sleeve? I bought this used from a local record store and it was just in the cover with the note sheet but no inner sleeve.
-
I wish I could find Light My Fire digitally somewhere for the commute, seems to only be on custom sets of Sounds of Science. This is a great reissue.
-
My brand new copy jumps on several tracks on the first side. Side two is OK. Anyone else had this problem? Sound quality isn't the best either. CD version sounds much better!
-
Sounds really good. I don't have a first pressing to compare, but I really like the sound. The cover and the insert look like recycled paper, really crappy, but I think original pressings looked the same. I hate the cover of "light my fire" , it's really out of place, but it's the last song on the album, so I think I can "deal with it"

This pressing sounds good to me, not perfect but good. My copy have a lot of surface noise even after cleaning...

I don't really understand the difference between this RSD version and the other one here on Discogs (https://discogs.juegazos.net/it/Beastie-Boys-Aglio-E-Olio/release/19549384), except for the number of copies available.
Could anybody explain? -
I digitally did a side by side with this RSD pressing and the original 7 inch version and RSD has most of the treble removed and the files are compressed. not sure why they had to mess with the sound on this but I will stick with my 7 inch. also for everyone claiming the spine is a misprint (BEATSIE BOYS), I compared it to my original 95 pressing and its the same way.

Edited 3 years agoDid anyone notice this has 2 grooves. I noticed this when i was playing side one maybe some bonus tracks like the jack white vinyl

I love the album - But the pressing quality is bad! The highs are very unspecific. But.. It‘s punk 🤷♂️
