German copy. Music is very very good. My tiny complaint is the front picture is not a picture..per se. It's "incorporated" into the album cover. Part of the history of the album is a picture, attached to the front cover.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say.. it was done to save money? -

Agree with all of the other commentary below. An excellent release all the way around.
However! Has anyone experienced any distortion on the last 2 tracks of Side 1 (Helpless and Woodstock).
And, yes, the album has been cleaned ultrasonically.
Really unfortunate to shell out so much coin for a defective copy. -
Edited 3 years agoNice pressing. No noise but the music, which highlights the shimmering harmonies they are famous for. I enjoyed the cds outtakes and unreleased versions are a good listen. Unlike others, I have had no problem with the packaging. Fits fine on the shelf with the rest of my vinyl. The cds remain in their slots -
Bought it for the record, but it comes with about a dollar’s worth of CDs, making the packaging a little awkward. A card would’ve been better. Oh, well, what are ya gonna do? The pressing is superb, and I’ve been trying to get a good pressing for awhile. Now I got one. -

No issues with the vinyl. However, the packaging is terrible. All four cds are unsecured and float around their “holding place”. There is also no place to put the back sheet. It won’t fit in the lp pocket. This packaging is a head scratcher.

Never heard this album sound so good, and I have heard this on every format and many pressings. Lots of clearer parts I have never heard on earlier pressings -
Just got this today and sounds awesome no issues, wondering if someone who has this and the Classic Records reissue could give an opinion on the differences between them and how the Chris Bellman mastering measures up.
