The pitch is correct (just compared with my OG). There's a video on youtube of the track that is sped up. Maybe that is causing the confusion.

I’m surprised no one has even picked up on the pitch issue of the re issue shockingly pitched down whoever mastered this should be shot!

Edited 5 years agoSibilance issue about 1/2 to 3/4, before the big bass drop, through later vocal - just eased off the treble which helped On side A, little indent on b side - could be cause. A wicked tune with such a lovely background story in the liner notes, so by no means perfect, label not stuck on correctly - just slightly off, and not cut that loud - and this needs to be heard loud imho. Would still drop it a party on the decks :)

This sounds so very fabulous, I had to quickly slip into my hot pants (which luckily I had in my bag) and then start boogieing immediately, when my friend Duncan Tompkins played it to me in his bedroom yesterday!!

Any comments on quality of pressing? Sounds decent from clips but have been burnt on reissues so many times in the past few months..
