Fantastic pressing of a great album. Absolutely faultless, great sound, no crackles or pops whatsoever. A must for your PSB collection.

Excellent pressing. Mastering is top notch and well rounded. Definitely worth picking up before it gets rare and expensive.

Edited one year agoGreat sound / packaging / pressing. An essential PSB purchase for your collection. Check out all the Tim Young remasters of PSB catalogue - they are all outstanding.

This truly is a fantastic sounding release of one of my favourite Pet Shop Boys Albums, it really does blow even the remastered CD version from 2001 that I also own out of the water. The superb synths and production of the Pets at the top of their game really shine through. Their are a few crackles here and there at the beginning of each side but nothing at distracting when the music kicks in. Highly recommended.

The record sounds very good, there is barely any surface noise and barely any pops or clicks (when it was new, now it has a few due to a few months of storage). But two tracks, One More Chance and Heart has some sibilance to it. I tried it with 2 different cartridges and they both has the same level of sibilance. On One More Chance, it is at the beggining, if you take a look at the record, the beggining of the track looks shiny, ubtil you reach that point. Thats when the sibilance happens. On heart, its few sibilance on the s and sh sound. Nothing too bad on this track, but One More Chance is much more worse than that. The inner sleeve doesn't look bad, but they will definetely fill your record with poly scratches and deep scratches. It does not feel smooth. My record looks as good as new, with the exception of a few hairs on top because of the static (I remove them with anti static brush). Overall, a very good pressing, the tracks sounds similar, if not identical to the original vinyl pressings. Just makw sure to get some anti static sleeves so you do not scratch the record.

Very good remastering. But side 2 was full of scratches. There was no second without having surface noise.. I am waiting now for the next delivery...
