Digital source or not, this is possibly the best sounding vinyl source for the mono Good Vibrations single.

This one is imho very close to the fantastic Kevin gray reissue on Smiley Smiley. at least if you play both with a mono cartridge (ortofon mono spu).

Very good song that has stood the test of time. Beach Boys at their most avant-garde yet accessible to mainstream listeners. That's hard to pull off. Great early art rock song.

You can't go wrong with Good Vibrations to begin with, but this is such a cool release with the outtakes. My copy sounds great with no manufacturing defects. The color scheme is really cool and looks cooler when spinning on the platter. The outtakes are gems, even though they are just that. I'm obsessed, especially because of the outtakes. Definitely a favorite in my collection!

One of the biggest gems in my collection. The color is stunning and hearing the outtakes with Brian giving direction is amazing!

I bought my cd on vacation in the usa.On my cd is printed "Licensed For Promotional Use Only.This CD has Not Been Sold".
So i guess that my cd is a promotional cd.

Overall, this is a very well-done and nice sounding release. The tracks are sourced from a digital transfer, but it sounds very good on my system. Of course the outtakes don't sound as clean as the finished studio version, but are still highly listenable. The Capitol orange/yellow color scheme for the vinyl press is quite stunning. It was pressed by Rainbo, which can be hit or miss, however my copy is centered and flat with no noticeable flaws. The music of course is great, however I'm taking one star off for the inflated price as well as the label design (printing "GOOD VIBRATIONS" in bold letters three times on the same side looks a little silly).
