Love an artist fully weaponized at 33 or 45....Sophie was kuedo psychedelic with thwump

Sophie’s mindsets toward sound design was truly one of a kind. 100% original synths and drums all made from scratch. The imagination required to do that and for something like “Bipp” to be the end result. Fascinating. Pressing is crystal clear and the bass hits heavy. A favorite in my collection

There's a lot to say about Sophie, how her music is far ahead of its time (still), how this track in particular helped define the outer limits of an era and just inspired a lot of belief in the ability to still really push things forward in dance music/dubstep-adjacent music, and the big Numbers. releases always do that, but I don't know that it's necessary to spell it all out here.

Bipp is a track that changed the course of music.
