In my experience of collecting SST records, if whenever possible go for earlier pressings. In comparison to this edition: https://discogs.juegazos.net/release/11800226-Black-Flag-TV-Party, there is a FAR NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE. Full, dynamic, depth are some adjectives to describe this pressing.

My copy appears to be on black vinyl but when held to the light, it looks like a translucent deep brown. Anybody else?

One of about three releases Unicorn did with Flag. these were made cos "TV Party" was the big single the MCA/Unicorn people were trying to push. It's produced by an exec/president person at Unicorn and a guy who otherwise only did mediocre 70s rock and, at this point in time, bad AOR. Kind of funny that they just made it a double A side since BF doesn't have any other songs at this point (or ever, really) that would appeal to the type of people Unicorn was aiming for

A mispressing of the 7” exists with “TV Party” on the A-side and the Minutemen’s “More Joy” on the B-side. It was pressed prior to 2009, but I traded it away and don’t have the matrix to add it to the database.

This is a different version of T.V. Party than on Damaged. Really cool 7"!

I have a version with the smaller 12" hole instead of the jukebox 45 hole
