Mandrake Memorial's album Puzzle, released in 1970, is famous for its unique and interactive packaging. The first pressings of this album actually included a nine-piece cardboard puzzle, each piece tucked into an individual sleeve inside the album cover. The idea was for listeners to assemble the puzzle while enjoying the album, adding a playful dimension to the musical experience. This feature has made the early editions of this album particularly sought after by collectors. -
One of the most ambitious trippy orchestrated late 60s psych/prog artrock LPs w/ complex jazzy middle eastern Floydian influences + great cover art.

This third album is the most experimental album from this band.. very atmospheric psych sounding...Trippy with lots 'verb and sounds whizzing around... really good one here.
