I was kinda disappointed with this LP. I've always appreciated the great production skills Black Sun Empire bring to the table, but it always seems that after putting something great together they hit "repeat" and give up. So much stuff here sounds amazing at first and then never changes and never goes anywhere. I get bored easily.

The Cooler is a pretty good tune that flows more like a breakbeat hardcore track (more of my style). It's a strange 303 squelching I think, strange but good. But like I said, it gets repetitive after a while.

Bitemark, Hideous, and Future Frame are some great rinsers with nice rolling beats and awesome squelching bass. Quality tunes, just wish there was a little more to them.

Also, I liked the Dance4Life tune. I haven't heard the other remix yet, but it's still a pretty decent track. If the other is better I guess I'd never play this, but in the meantime, still sounds good to me.

Another classic album from the gentlemen that form Black Sun Empire. The whole album is of the usual excellent quality, with the only slightly dodgy tracks being 'The Cooler' and 'Dance 4 Life Remix 2' (get the 1st remix on the LP sampler, it's much better).

Bitemark, Masquerade, Hideous and Future Frame are the stand-out tracks, for me. They all manage to sound different, but retain the technoey/bassy vibe that BSE do so well.
